Researching Topics on the European Union

1.     Go to: http://europa.eu/legislation_summaries/index_en.htm

2.     You and your partner need to select one topic from the list and click on that topic.

3.     Once you get to that topic page, you need to write: 

a.     A BRIEF background explanation of your topic.

4.     You must then choose two sub groups (click on two different blue links) and explain:

a.     What recent events, news stories, laws, treaties, etc. have occurred in relation to your topic?           

- If your page does not have any explanations of anything that has happened                        recently (2010-today’s date), CHOOSE ANOTHER ONE!

*** It does not have to be long; in fact, it should be a quick “snap-shot” (write phrases, not sentences!!) you will be sharing this with the class. ***
